Charlotte Youth Rowing is a great place to make friends with High Schoolers from North and South Carolina and stay in shape while participating in a very unique sport. We practice throughout the week at Lake Wylie and spend a few weekends a season at regattas across the Southeast.
Interested? Join us for Learn to Row, 11 am Saturday, August 26 to 11am Sunday, August 27th at Camp Thunderbird. New rowers will get an introduction to the sport, an opportunity to meet the team and then decide if they would like to continue with the sport.
Please visit our website charlotteyouthrowing.com. There are currently six Randolph Alum on the team. We would love to expand that!!
Let Me Run is a running program for 4th-8th grade boys, but it’s more about the boy than the run. Counteracting the negative pressures society places on boys, the program uses running as the vehicle to inspire, teach, and reach them.
Combining exercise with fun activities and lessons, our trained coaches inspire boys to be courageous enough to be themselves, build healthy relationships, and live an active lifestyle. Registration at Randolph Middle School is now open! Fall season starts on September 26th, meets Monday and Friday for an hour and fifteen minutes, and ends with a 5k race on November 19th. Watch this video to learn more and register at LetMeRun.org.
