Randolph PTO Volunteer Committee Descriptions
Back2School Packets: Help create, copy and collate back to school packets.
Beautification: Volunteers will assist in maintaining and improving the appearance of our outside campus. Tasks include watering, planting, mulching, picking up litter, pruning, raking, blowing, weed-eating, removing debris, and weeding.
Book Fairs: Operate cash registers and assist as needed during the Fall and Spring book fairs.
Community Partnerships: Big-hearted, creative volunteers support the school counselor’s efforts to help our most vulnerable, at-risk students with discretion and dignity. Schedule is flexible and requires a small time commitment.

Direct Giving: Assist with the primary fund-raiser of the year to support Randolph and the PTO.
eBlast/website: Compile and send out weekly communication from Randolph Middle School and the RMS PTO. Maintain RMS PTO website.
Habitat: Spend small blocks of time on the weekends or after school maintaining the trails, keeping the area free of trash and caring for the area’s plant life. No formal gardening or landscaping training needed.
Hospitality (Back to School and Curriculum Nights): Randolph’s new Hospitality Committee is looking for friendly parents to welcome and direct people on campus during the Open House and Curriculum Nights.
Prospective Parents (Open House and School Tours): Set up and greet prospective parents at Open Houses and Student Expo for rising 6th graders
Scholarships: Manage the approval and disbursement of need-based scholarship funds to students for annual grade-level trips
Spirit Wear/School Store: Help staff the school store on Friday mornings from 8:40 – 9:20 and at various school and athletic events.
Staff Appreciation: Show support to the amazing staff at Randolph by signing up to receive information about Staff Appreciation Events.
Student Recognition: Host quarterly celebrations recognizing the students who have made A and A/B Honor Roll. The committee also assists with end of year Academic Celebrations and 8th Grade Spirit Week.
Testing Proctors: Proctor End of Grade and End of Course exams at the end of the year. Training provided!
